Myosteopractic
Is a body health method which uses a diverse range of functional techniques shown
to assist in the release and alignment of the spine and joints, loosen muscles, open
neural channels and rebalance myofascia lines (muscle sheath).
Guided by the body's natural reflex response, the source of dysfunction is targeted
with a variety of precise corrective techniques. This stimulates the nervous system,
setting in motion the body's own healing process.
Myosteopractic may be used proactively to sustain general well-being. It has
also been effective in addressing many specific complaints, including:
- Migraines - Pulled ligaments This comprehensive system is practiced on a person fully clothed, from infants to the
elderly, whether sick or healthy. It is a complementary health technique concerned with overall well-being.

Our fast-paced and pressured lives frequently take us out of our bodies and into our heads. At the same time, extreme sports and modern competitiveness challenge our bodies to their limits. The food we eat, supplements we take, our stress-levels, environmental pollution, not-quite-enough or over-demanding exercise contribute to the ongoing stress our bodies cope with on a daily basis. Stress leaves the body more susceptible to injury; it places a burden on the body's ability to perform optimally and interferes with its natural self-healing ability.
Increasing numbers of people are turning to various forms of bodywork to assist them in dealing with injuries, emotional stress, imbalance and pain. Old myths, including the notion that the body and mind are separate, are giving way to more integrative understandings where body and mind are seen as interdependent and interconnected aspects of the self.
As demand for effective bodywork grows, systems of bodywork are emerging or being introduced in countries all over the world. Most bodywork systems tend to focus on a particular aspect of the body: eg. the spine, muscles, body-mind balancing, neural pathways, meridian principle, myofascia network, etc. As practitioners cross-train in different modalities, bodywork is becoming increasingly integrative and focused on effective outcome rather than the application of a particular method.
Myosteopractic was developed as an integrative and functional approach to dealing with injury, stress, pain and imbalance.
What is Myosteopractic?
Myosteopractic is a body health approach that uses a diverse range of functional techniques shown to assist in the release and alignment of the spine and joints, loosen muscles, open neural channels and rebalance myofascia lines (muscle sheath). Central to Myosteopractic is the understanding that, correctly stimulated, the body will seek to restore its own health. Guided by the body's natural reflex response, the source of dysfunction is targeted with a variety of precise movements or techniques.
A core aspect of the Myosteopractic approach is the belief that bodywork and the community benefit from openness and growth. Years of experience, observation and study convinced its founders that all systems offered something. The basic principle of good bodywork is: "Use the right tool for the job". Myosteopractic's objective is to engage a range of functional techniques that focus on the problem from different angles, until the objective is achieved.
Myosteopractic is practiced on a person fully-clothed, from infants to the elderly, whether sick of healthy. It is a complementary health technique concerned with overall well-being. It is not a medical system and is not concerned with diagnosis.
Myosteopractic stimulates the body's means of internal communication
vaa the nervous system, directing
the body to heal itself.
